I was thinking about this too – I can’t find it anywhere and the newer model is too tall.

Of the other two options presented – NH-L9 or C7 – if the issue is that the fan isn’t close enough to the grill and the heat is not directed well enough towards it, maybe the solution is to produce a custom skirt in a 3D printer to clip on to the fan and provide a duct between the cooler and the exhaust grill.

What do you guys think?

How did the IS-60 work out? I’ve seen some people replace the stock fan on the IS-60 for an NF-A12x15 with better results.

Did you have a chance to mount the IS-60? How is it looking?

I am thinking about this – I’d have to make a small bracket to hold the fans.

I’ve wondered if the bottom of it is aluminum.. Some liquid metal would really help.

yes, that seems to be the perfect option right now. My IS-60 is on the way from amazon 🙂

I’ve also installed: Cryorig C7 for my i7 8700 in node 202… and it cannot handle turbo boost on this chip ;/ C7 works nicely in stock frequencies, maxed at 75…80 degs. But when I enable turbo boost then it quickly reaches 99degs.
I hope IS-60 will perform much better

What about the ID-cooling IS-60?

there was another:

Thermolab LP53 Slim – but it was also discontinued ;/
so it seems that we’re left with Noctua NH-L9 or Cryorig C7 (note that recently there’s CU version)
And recently I’ve also seen SilverStone Argon AR06 which is also 58mm in height
